Tonia Bultrowicz is the owner operator of Calming Winds. She began her journey over 25 years ago when she worked as a Licensed Social Work professional in the mental health field. She began to realize that if you’re going to find harmony and balance in life, it’s important to help individuals not only with their mind but with their body and spirit as well. She decided after ten years in the field to make it a priority to explore complementary health practices that could help her family but others who had the same interest and now devotes her career to energy work.

She has learned from teachers and healers from all over the world and promises to never stop learning. Her first interest started with herbs and then progressed to Shamanism and Reiki. In 2009 she became a certified Reiki Master Teacher in the Usui Shiki Ryoho System of Natural Healing and is professional member at the International Center for Reiki Training and Foundation of Shamanic Studies. Reiki is one modality that she uses as it’s a gentle approach to health and healing but found it also compliments other modalities. It’s her love of traveling around the world that gives her the opportunity to learn new techniques and skills from individuals who normally don’t travel to the US. When traveling Tonia will announce where she is headed and enjoys connecting with people.

Over the years Tonia has expanded the services she offers and now includes in her practice: Access Bars®, Tuning Fork Therapy®, Clearing Held Memories®, Reflexology, Drum Therapy and Shamanic healing techniques. In therapeutic drumming, Tonia uses the 6 foot Tambour Unity drum that was hand crafted in Canada. Currently there is less than 12 being used in a therapeutic manner in the USA. In addition, as part of the her holistic practice she uses doTERRA essential oils and she certified in Aroma Touch.

Tonia continues to believe in extending services to the community and donates her time at the Life with Cancer program offered by INOVA Hospital in Leesburg, Virginia where Energy Practitioners work with cancer and hospice patients during various stages of their treatment; in addition offers help to animals that are having medical or emotional issues.

Services are conducted in Leesburg, Virginia. If offering classes, workshops in another location it will be in the Announcement page. You never know where Tonia will travel in the world to offer services.
