Service Description

Reflexology is a natural holistic modality to introduce your young pre-teen or teenaged son daughter. Most come with a specific wellness goal-it be me stress or pain management, mood balancing or to help with focus for school. Some examples where reflexology can help your young person: young females facing their first menstrual cycle who have classic signs of premenstrual syndrome (PMS), can find comfort in reflexology session. Techniques can emphasize reproductive system reflexes and pelvic area reflexes to ease cramping and discomfort all found on the bottom of the feet. Sports are increasingly demanding on the body – reflexology can help with recovery after weekend of sports or perhaps aid during recovery from an injury. In addition, reflexology can aid in the increasing demands from school, friends and sometimes family/community can be a daily source of stress for every age group and reflexology can help relieve stress. Allow reflexology to become part of their wellness plan. Frequency can be based on a variety of factors and health goals. Calming Winds will ensure what ever the age that they find ways to help them relax by asking what music they prefer, perhaps give them an item to fiddle with, they can decide if they want to be in a floating chair or be on a massage table, do they want the parents to hang out in the room with them during the session. Flexibility is key and to allow them to be invested in helping make decisions in their session. Adding reflexology into a wellness plan for the whole family can be a great way to encourage communication and improve on relationships.
